Insurance

Beginning on July 1, 2023, Reclamation and Recovery Counseling will be accepting insurances from Cigna, Aetna, Oscar, Oxford and United Healthcare! For all other insurances, we are considered an out of network provider. You must pay Reclamation & Recovery Counseling our negotiated private practice rate and we will provide you with a superbill.

For more information about insurance, click here.

  • We do not offer discounted services at this time. However, most of our clients use their PPO insurance for partial reimbursement of services.

You will receive a “SUPER BILL" receipt which you may submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement which varies depending on insurance carriers and plans. Your services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

We do not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for services and our services are fee-for-service.

    1. Does my plan cover out-of-network behavioral health services in an outpatient setting? Would it be covered if I had a referral from my primary care doctor?

    2. Do I have a deductible for that?

    3. How much is that deductible? How much of that have I met? And once I do, how much will my plan cover?

    4. Can I, the patient, submit claims electronically? If so, how? If not, what are my options for submitting?

    5. What are the reimbursement rates for CPT codes 90791 (Diagnostic Evaluation), 90837 (Individual Therapy), 90847 (Family Therapy) when these services are provided by a licensed master's level therapist such as an LMHC?

  • Keep in mind that you may also have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that can be used towards our appointments as well. HMO’s do not provide reimbursement for out of network, but PPO providers often cover 60-80% of the cost.

Cancellation Policies

We prioritize our clients by holding space for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, our clinicians offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or no show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.

If you would like to cancel an appointment, we ask that you do so with your therapist with at least 24-hours notice. Anyone canceling an appointment with less than 24-hours notice will be charged the late cancellation fee of $75. Not showing up for a scheduled appointment without any notice of cancellation will result in a full charge cost of the session.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE Information:

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
